A teenager from Tavistock is breaking into the UK film industry in a cheeky role alongside a wealth of celebrities. Jack Durgess, 19, has hit it big playing the role of Danny in a £6-million teen horror film called ?The Perfect Woman? alongside celebrities including Caprice, Angelica Bridges from Baywatch and David Prowse from Star Wars. The film, produced by Olympus Production Ltd, follows the antics of a reality television show gone too far. There is a sinister gardener, a hapless hunk, an evil doctor and many women. The contestants play a dangerous game in their quest to win the heart of a Greek God of a man. Jack?s character was a 19-year-old who flirted with all the women. He was there for nine days on set. Jack said: ?It was brilliant, I had such a good time. Caprice is a really nice lady, they were all really nice.? Matthew John, executive producer for Olympus Production, said: ?We are delighted to have such a great team aboard and expect that both our male and female audiences will be thrilled with the eye candy. ?The shoot has required three camera teams to work alongside each other in trying conditions, as helicopters, cranes, limos, red carpets, hunks and honeys nearly brought the village of Thornbury to a standstill.? Jack managed to get the role when he first met Mr John on a photo shoot. Jack told him he was not a model but an actor: ?I basically sold myself as I knew he was an important person. ?But it paid off as I got a call back from him and he asked me to send off my portfolio and any recent personal footage of my plays.? Now Olympus Production has offered Jack the lead part in a teen romance movie yet to be titled. ?The Perfect Woman? is due to be in cinemas later this year.
