AWARD-winning gardeners Ann and Roger Bowden of Sticklepath enjoyed another success at this year?s Chelsea Flower Show, winning a silver gilt medal for their hostas.
A royal connection was the highlight of Ann and Roger?s display at Chelsea as they displayed a new plant ? a hosta called Prince of Wales.
The couple?s display at the country?s most prestigious flower show also featured a stumpery inspired by the royal garden at Highgrove.
The couple won a silver medal at Chelsea for the second year running, their hostas took the coveted gold medal four years ago.
Roger Bowden said he was thrilled to win the medal as a lot of hard work had gone into creating the display,
Ann and Roger are also exhibiting at the BBC Gardeners World show which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham next month, and Hampton Court Flower Show in July.
The garden at Cleave House, Sticklepath, which has more than 900 varieties of hostas and houses the National Collection will be open to the public this weekend.
