A CRAZY day in Bridestowe, with a fun-packed programme of events takes place next week, in aid of Rapid UK.

The event is taking place at the Fox and Hounds — and will be opened by Carlton West Country TV personality Alexis Bowater.

The crazy day will begin with a car boot sale between 10am and noon, on Saturday, September 27.

Among the afternoon attractions between 2pm and 5pm, are a sheep dog Grand National, ferret-racing, fun dog show and charity stalls.

The evening entertainment will include a barbecue, disco and karaoke and a big firework finale.

The event is raising money for Rapid UK, the West Devon-based charity which offers assistance at international disaster scenes.
