A LOCK-IN will take place at Jethro?s at Lewdown this weekend ? as staff and parents become inmates in a charity Big Brother event to raise money for Lewtrenchard Pre-School.

Twelve contestants have volunteered to enter Lewdown?s version of the Big Brother house ? the function room at Jethro?s ? at 1pm this Saturday, March 1, and will be locked in for the 24-hour duration.

Contestants will have to complete tasks to receive food, drink and a party pack. These will include an assault course, a quiz, skittles and a task where contestants will be tied together for an hour.

The proceedings might not be screened live on Channel 4, but visitors will be able to watch all the action in Jethro?s bar via CCTV.

All proceeds from the event will be donated to Lewtrenchard Pre-School.

The contestants taking part include staff at Jethro?s and several parents of children at the pre-school.

The contestants are Sarah Kitson, Sam Kitson, Nicki Hill, Paul Loud, Vicki Johnson, Liz Loud, Gavin Roberts, Sam Furman, Johnny Maddocks, Will Power, Dave Fry and Den Beasley.
