PANTOMIME is returning to Whitchurch after a seven-year break, thanks to a keen group of parishioners and a new village hall. Cinderella will be the first performance since the old hall was demolished and all profits raised will go to charity. Local resident Trudi Massey said this was not the revival of the Whitchurch Players but purely an experiment to see if panto would catch on again in Whitchurch. ?It?s a group of keen-to-perform villagers, so if anyone fancies a night of fun and laughter they can come along,? she said. Performances are at 7.30pm on January 26 and 27 and at 2.30pm and 7.30pm on January 28. Tickets, £4 and £3 for children, are on sale at Whitchurch PO and St Andrew?s Church Office.
