A CHARITY 'It's a Knockout' event held by the parents' association at Kelly College Junior School raised around £1,600 for two local organisations recently.

The event was blessed by fantastic weather, prompting plenty of parents to join in with some very wet antics in the school's grounds.

Competitors paid £10 each to participate, attempting to win events on behalf of their children's houses at the school.

Proceeds from the evening's competition have been donated to St Luke's Hospice and Bowel Cancer West.
