WHY on earth Tavistock needs yet another supermarket I fail to understand! If and when Tesco arrives, it will be traffic chaos at the Morrisons roundabout — it can be already! I live in Lydford and love going to Morrisons — especially at 7am, when only its very friendly and helpful staff are there — home by 8am for a full English breakfast. Also, we should all rally round to give support to the many excellent tradesmen and businesses in our lovely market town. Incidentally, our two fish and chip shops are at the top of the tree. Driving home from the pantomime from Plymouth, feeling famished, the cod and chips with brown bread and butter went down a treat! But another supermarket — not for me! Tony Smith Lydford
