A SPECIAL afternoon to celebrate the wonderful relationship between grandchildren and grandparents was held at Kelly Prep School recently.

On a sunny afternoon, more than 110 grandparents came into Kelly and were given an insight into life at school by their grandchildren and their teachers. They were able to see where lessons take place, the school's facilities, the children's classrooms, teachers and friends and to look at some of the children's work.

After a tour of the school and time in the classrooms, the afternoon finished with tea and home-made cakes in the school hall, while watching the children perform in a short music concert.
