A FEW weeks ago you were kind enough to publish a report on some of my photography work 'The Business of Death' which included an image of funeral directors preparing a grave in anticipation of a burial.
Death and bereavement stir strong emotions in us all and I fully appreciate how difficult it can be when someone you love dies.
Unwittingly, this image has caused some offence as a family has contacted me expressing their upset at its publication.
For my part I have said that I would write to you to convey my public apologies to them and any others who found the image distressing. It was not my intention to cause offence then, now or in the future.
