IN all of its 200 years odd years has there ever been a
monkey seen on the branches of the ancient oak tree on
Meavy Green? Well, there was one last Saturday week. It
swung its legs and chattered away to the delight of young
children.
Well, I have to admit it wasn't a live one, but it was the
answer to a clue on the treasure hunt which the pre-
school arranged, along with a barbecue and raffle for the
end of term.
The event was very well supported and everyone had a
good time.
