THE Tavistock rest room is indeed a shabby neglected spot in the heart of the town. (Letters April 17th). The mystery is why nothing can be done about this building. I understand that the legal expertise of our local MP is greatly valued in many corners of the world so can he not find it in his heart to do a little pro bono work for the small town of Tavistock?   Perhaps there is a way through this shabby tangle to restore this small building, which was a gift to the elderly, before all those who loved it are forgotten  and gone.
