?Not all teenagers are bad.? My daughter, while ?scootering? home, spotted a wallet on the road, turned round and picked it up. It contained a card, two notes and small change, no address or phone number. There was an appointment card, so we phoned the number and explained. She gave us the owner?s number so we spoke to her, explaining, and gave her our address for her to collect the wallet. She arrived, took the wallet and went. My daughter is 17, she wasn?t even offered the price of two phone calls! Also, it made her five minutes late for work. She doesn?t expect a gold watch, but someone else might have picked it up, emptied it and chucked it in the river. Occasionally, teenagers do need praise. It does help. Is there no respect any more?
