A kaleidoscope of colour greeted visitors to the 102nd gardening club Show of Bere Ferrers Horticultural Society, at Bere Alston Primary School on July 24.
The standard was high with increased entries 81 people entered 644 exhibits. Statuesque lilies and hydrangea blooms were spectacular. There were noteworthy photographic exhibits and topical classes, includin 100 years of Girl Guides.
Chair Helen Young congratulated everyone, particularly the children for their ingenuity.
