I WRITE in praise of Gill Gorbutt who died recently. She did so much for Tavistock, and was beloved by so many people.
As mayor, councillor and activist she was utterly remarkable, with unremitting energy and commitment for all the causes she undertook.
It would be good to have something tangible for the people of Tavistock to remember her by; for the very great lady that she was.
