I WAS very pleased when Caroline Keane (deputy mayor of Tavistock) suggested we should decorate the two small trees in Tavy Gardens as part of the Christmas celebrations. Half an hour up a stepladder and a box of decorations turned a small unnoticed corner into a little bit of Christmas magic. Many congratulations to Caroline for being so imaginative!
