I READ that the residents of Westbridge Cottages. Tavistock, are rather cross about losing parking space.
But I query if there should be any right to park on a public highway.
Public roads are there for travel. Travel is increasingly restricted by parked cars, especially in a busy road such as Plymouth Road.
Owners of private cars should be obliged to find their own private parking space.
This may lead to some people getting rid of their cars. Would this not be a good thing, and help unclog the veins of our country?
