I AM sorry to say that the Guide and Brownie stall in Okehampton Market will close on Saturday, July 27.

I have run the stall for 13 years, made many friends and really enjoyed it — and raised an awful lot of money over the years for the Guides and Brownies.

I now find that after a recent illness it is getting to be too much for me without help — although I would like to thank Guide Catherine Chandler who has come in to pack up for me every Saturday.

Through your columns can I also thank the people of Okehampton for their support as customers over the years — I will miss you all.
