Bodmin Trophies Duchy division 4 east

Mary Tavy 3

Lewdown 3

WITH a scoreline of 3-0 at half-time Mary Tavy thought the points were in the bag but as on so many occasions at home this season they loosened their grip, allowing a spirited Lewdown a second half fight-back.

With no referee Chris Hurford gave up his keeper's jersey to allow the game to go on and with the second choice keeper unavailable Shaun James back from injury stood in.

The first half went according to the home plan with goals coming from Dan Brockington, James Coole and Alan Grylls and the game should have been over.

But Lewdown had other ideas and after pulling one back saw an effort by Swift fly into the top corner. At 3-2 an equaliser was inevitable and it came by virtue of a neat side-foot by Hunter.
