PEOPLE who want to become more healthy and active but find it difficult to get fit are being invited to attend a course at Okehampton Rugby Club. But they won?t have to get into a scrum. Stuart Lord, Okehampton community activator with healthy lifestyle project 5x30, said the course will tell people how to fit a little physical activity into their day. He said: ?It?s looking at a broader concept of what exercise is. It?s about doing things that you like and enjoy and becoming more active.? The name 5x30 refers to the World Health Organisation?s recommendation that people do moderate exercise for half an hour five times a week to stay healthy. The project is supported by Sport England, local authorities and health services. The course will run on Wednesdays from 1 to 3pm and costs £5 for six sessions, starting on September 26.
