FIREFIGHTERS were called to a property fire on the Tiddybrook estate in Tavistock on Saturday (October 31), with the belief that someone was still inside.

Upon arrival, crews confirmed a small fire in a first floor flat on Buzzard Road, and got to work using two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet. Crews confirmed all persons were accounted for.

The fire, which involved bedding, was put out and the property received some damage from smoke.
