HOTEL Endsleigh in Milton Abbot is hosting an open garden day in aid of St Luke's Hospice this weekend.
Visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy the fantastic gardens which were originally designed by Humphry Repton nearly 200 years ago. The garden has three distinctive elements: a formal garden, an arboretum, and a dell with a stream and huge gunera alongside.
Also within the formal garden area is a Shell House which displays the Duke of Bedford's collection of shells and corals from around the world. This is an amazing opportunity to visit a beautiful garden just before the autumn colour creeps in and while the long border displays a riot of late summer colour.
Hotel Endsleigh has supported St Luke's Hospice for several years and would like to encourage as many people to help this extremely good cause.
The gardens will be open from 10am to 5pm on Sunday, September 11. Adult entry is £5 — all the proceeds to St Luke's Hospice. Afternoon tea will be available within the main house at £15pp (booking essential).
