HERALDING a new year, West Devon's Connect service is taking a slightly different approach to its usual drop in sessions across the borough this coming January.
The new format will see monthly 'hot topics', involving a host of different organisations delivering services relevant to the chosen subject.
For example, January's sessions will highlight wellbeing, and involve information and advice around housing, sport and fitness, the library and pensions. One thing that will not change is the West Devon Connect advisor, who will be at all the sessions to offer help on a wide range of public services.
Each month the 'hot topic' will tackle a subject close to residents' hearts – look out for agencies joining the West Devon Connect service in local community magazines, on posters at the various outreach locations, phone West Devon Borough Council on 01822 813630 or email [email protected]">[email protected]
