DUCHY College at Stoke Climsland certainly had a lot to offer potential students at their impressive trade stand.

Their marketing team gav visitors to their stand advice on educational opportunities and the range of courses available at the college from part and full time studies, work based learning, further education through to university based courses. As well as the traditional land based agricultural ones the college offer courses in animal care, countryside and equine studies, outdoor pursuits, public services, sport and child care.

Marketing manager Sarah Aggiss said: 'Our main purpose here today is to raise awareness of the college and provision of the excellent courses we have to offer. Although we are Cornwall based our growing reputation attracts students from all over the South West.

But not all the Duchy College staff and students were working at the trade stand as some with their horses were taking part in the equine events. However, Ian the Horse (pictured), the Duchy College mascot was quite happy to stay at the stand and enjoy the odd nibble of hay.
