HORRABRIDGE celebrated its annual village fete on June 25, at its usual venue at Weir Park.

The event, which ran from mid-day until 4pm, was organised by the Horrabridge Fair Committee.

The fete had a host of activities for children, including a huge bouncy castle for them to let off some steam. There was more steam — this time as people climbed aboard the little train for a ride.

Children also had the traditional fair stalls such as face painting and a fun run to keep them occupied. For adults there were plenty of stalls selling cakes and fresh produce, plants, books and cream teas.

If that was not enough to whet the appetite there also the Horrabridge Cavaliers’ famous barbecue to tuck into.
