YOUNGSTERS from the Tiddybrook Teen Project in Tavistock took their 'hoods' off to West Devon Homes recently, to say a big thank you for all their support.

The group of youngsters from the Tiddybrook and Bishopsmead area are trying to raise money to build a shelter to use as a meeting place for young people.

The aim of the project is to assist with reducing noise issues on the estates, give youngsters somewhere to meet their friends and make the area a nicer place for everyone to live.

Trish Curry, a spokesperson for the group, said: 'West Devon Homes have very kindly had hooded sweatshirts printed for our members with a logo designed by Stephen Jones, a member of the Teen Project.

'We all feel like a real group with our own identity and it will be great for people to be able to see who we are when we are fundraising and doing activities.

'Thank you West Devon Homes!'
