IN the Okehampton Ladies Netball League Phoenix beat Jesters 37-12. Phoenix started strongly and despite some good defending from Jesters Phoenix led the first half by 13 goals.

Jesters seemed to find it hard to get into the match and despite making changes could not catch up and finished the match 25 goals behind Phoenix.

In an exciting game Jets drew with Lifton 32-32. Lifton started this match looking the stronger side and led by six goals after the first quarter. Jets rallied in the second and scored more goals. Lifton held on but Jets had seemed to get into their stride and had closed the gap to just two goals. With everything to play for in the last quarter both teams pulled out all the stops but Jets had the better play and managed to force a draw in the last minutes of the game.
