A YOUNG woman who collects glasses at Tavistock's Crown Centre is £500 richer this week — thanks to her honesty.
As a result of an appeal in the Times earlier this month, Vicky Batten was able to find out who owned a wallet, still containing £200 cash, bank cards and jewellery, she had found.
Returning it to its owner, Julie Sanders, Vicky was able to claim a £500 reward offered by Mrs Sanders.
Mrs Sanders praised everybody involved, especially the staff at the Crown and Smiffy's next door for their support and kindness.
