A RESIDENTIAL home in Yelverton is showing the festive spirit ? it is inviting anyone who is over 65 and alone to enjoy a Christmas meal with them. Redhouse Residential Home manager Marlene Treloar, said the offer would enable people to find out what care homes are like. A residential home is mainly used when people have poor mobility and need help with everyday chores that they cannot do on their own. Redhouse can accommodate 10 to 15 extra people from around the Tavistock and Yelverton area for the free Christmas meal. Guests are asked to make a donation to the ?resident fund? which takes residents on activities throughout the year.
