THE Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty will be home to a number of holiday activities this summer.
The events will be held at the Bedford Sawmills car park near Gulworthy each Wednesday throughout the summer holidays starting from yesterday (Wednesday).
The activities include archery taster sessions, bug hunting and willow weaving.
There will also be a number of special guests, including didgeridoo man Chris Holland and Sarah Hurley who will be telling tales of the Goddess Tamara.
A spokesman from the Tamar Valley Mining Heritage Project said: 'It's a very exciting time in the Tamar Valley. We're putting on the activities to encourage people to see for themselves an incredible part of both our countryside and our mining heritage.'
