JETS were rooted at the bottom of the league at the start of play against unbeaten Whitleigh.

Jets scored after 20 minutes through Lee Hold, slotting home from an acute angle.

Simon Gliddon in the Jets? goal made a string of fine saves but just before half time Whitleigh scored to level.

In the second half Lee Hold scored his second after 50 minutes, sliding the ball past the keeper. Ross Sherrell scored the third in the 70th minute.

With Ross Allen, Ian Gray, Kyle Birch and Sam Turner defending, Glen Holmes scored Jets? fourth in the 75th minute after good work by Chris Watts.

With five minutes to go Lee Hold scored his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

Whitleigh scored the third with two minutes to go.
