THE eleventh annual Stowford Garden Produce Show was held last Saturday.

Mrs Eileen Warren welcomed everyone, and thanked those exhibiting. She introduced Mrs Holmes who opened the show and congratulated the exhibitors on the high standard of entries.

Prizes were presented by Mrs Holmes and Mrs Hilda Pengelly show secretary.

The floral arragments were exquisite, vegetables were of a good standard. Cookery was excellent, and in the patchwork quilting section the standard was as high as in previous years. In the children?s section entries were up on last year, which bodes well for the future of the show.
