FOUR fantastic performances of the smash hit Disney musical comedy 'High School Musical (on stage)' were staged at Callington Community College at the end of last term.

It was an immensely popular choice with the students for the annual college production containing great songs, abundant humour and some smashing dance numbers.

The show was choreographed by Suzi Groom, marshalled once more by musical director Adam Lane. The singing was directed by Jonathon Plunkett.

Technical support was provided by Luke Parsley, doing the work of at least four people. The stage was controlled by Chris Neve and the whole show was directed by a team comprising Chris Neve, Amy Ireland and Jonathon Plunkett.

The cast consisted of more than 60 performers from Year 7 to 13, including Allanah Taylor, Elika Conway, Amelia Coldman, Rosie Maciver-Redwood, Isaac Thompson, Owen Kilcommons, Charlotte Lynch, Evie Copson, Amber Callendar, Libby Bailey, Freya Turley, Liam Thompson, Lloyd Lovell, Jack Reddicliffe, Finn Hilsdon, Eloise Coldman, Ellie Harvey, Margaret Pavlatova, Ellie Petherick-Davies, Olivia Thompson, Scarlett Winter, Holly Morris, Freathy Watson, Holly Earl, Lily McGowan, Maisie Rose-Hurn, Eva Pascoe, Lily Barker, Chantelle Taylor, Rosie Petherick-Davies, Mia Prescott, Eleanor Davies, Grace Edwards, Scarlett Shalliker, Freya Moxham, Molly Clarke, Mia Farrant, Harri Richards, Jack Scott, Jill Welsh, Josh Mabin, Grace Davies, Luke Merritt and Alice Ross.

The show was hugely popular with audiences and was deemed a real triumph for the college.
