I AM writing to let you know how pleased we were with the hospitality of the Post Inn at Whiddon Down. We held a party there to celebrate my parents? golden wedding. Mr and Mrs Short (landlords) put on a wonderful spread for a buffet lunch, and let us with our friends and relations take over the premises for the afternoon. They were very helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. My parents felt that their kindness certainly helped to make a great celebration even better. Relations travelled from as far as London, Lincoln and Birmingham and enjoyed themselves in such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, in a lovely country pub. We managed to take some lovely photographs both inside and outside the premises. I can certainly recommend this place for a scrumptious meal, and friendly service.
