THE marriage of Farrah Higgins, daughter of Brian and Carole Higgins, to Mark Tillyer, son of Mr and Mrs Barry Tillyer, took place at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, Tavistock.
The service was carried out by the couple’s good friend Father John Greatbatch. The wedding breakfast and reception was at the Elfordleigh Hotel, Colebrook, Plympton.
The bride wore an organza gown with pleated bodice and tiers of soft organza skirt with a flowing train and corset back. She carried a shower bouquet with vibrant mixtures of oranges and hints of yellow, lime green and purple tones.
The flower girls were the couple’s daughter Kelsey and the groom’s niece Aimee Baker. The bridesmaids wore a lovely colour of larkspur and they were Jordan the couple’s eldest daughter, the groom’s sister Donna Baker and the bride’s friends Jodie Brent and Kate McIntyre.
The groom arrived in style to the church on his 350 KTM motorbike.
The bride was given away by her father, The best man was the groom’s good friend Nathan Folland and the ushers Richard Hoskin and Andrew Freeman.
The happy couple went on honeymoon to Nissi Beach, Cyprus — they will continue to live in Tavistock and carry on running their local business together.
