ON Thursday January 9 I had a nasty fall in Market Street at around 1pm and I wish to express my sincere thanks to the lady who came to my assistance and placed a blanket under my head while awaiting an ambulance.

I still have the blanket and if the lady concerned or anyone who knows her would kindly ring 01837 53234 I will arrange for its return.

I would like to give my thanks to all who helped me that day including the ambulance men and those at the A and E Department in the District Hospital.
