WEST Devon Connect is raising the alarm this March when they are joined by the alarm response team, Call24.

The outreach service, co-ordinated by West Devon Borough Council, will be touring the region to deliver face-to-face support direct to residents at numerous venues across March.

An information and advice co-ordinator from Call24 will be on hand to talk about their telecare community alarm service, which operates across Devon and Cornwall.

They offer a personal alarm installation and monitoring service 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for those who need reassurance that emergency help is only a push of a button away.

Call24 also provide free, no-obligation demonstrations to local groups or individuals at homes within sensible travelling distance of Plymouth.

A KeySafe supply and installation service is available for those wishing to externally store keys to a property.

On March 3, the Connect team will be joined by West Devon's Our Plan, the council's strategic planning team who will be consulting with residents on how the borough should look up to 2031.

Officers will be on hand to listen to your views and comments on their draft and give you a say on the long-term vision for West Devon.

Other agencies out and about with Connect include Oakhouse Foods, Devon Carers, Action on Hearing Loss.

Everyone is welcome, and a borough council adviser will be present at every session to answer questions and provide information about a range of public and support services.
