CARRYING a slight injury, Chloe Bassett played in goal and allowed Robynne Honey to join forces with Robyn Hammond as striker.

Although passing was better Tavistock found themselves fighting a good defence and an excellent keeper.

Heidi Davies battled away in midfield and Tamsin Bryant was everywhere backing up. Bassett was called on to make some fine saves but the goal came eventually.

Tavistock never stopped battling, Sarah Barrett and Megan Blackmore tackling hard. Activate scored again and in the second half went three up. Tavistock continued to fight back and at last the ball came to the feet of Clarice Payne who slotted in.

Barrett played superbly at the back and fed the ball up to Davies who beat the defence and slotted home.

Tavistock gave everything to get the equaliser; Honey fought hard but the final whistle stopped the Tavistock onslaught.
