AN application has been lodged with West Devon Borough Council for the pruning of hedgerows in New Cemetery in Plymouth Road, Tavistock.

The proposal has been submitted by Summerfield Developments to undertake works to trees in the conservation area by pruning the hedgerows back to the boundary, not including the tree protected by the Tree Preservation Order.
