TAVISTOCK band Ten Zero One put in a storming performance at the third heat of Okehampton's Battle of the Bands last weekend.

The four-piece band, composed of teenagers from Tavistock College, recently reached the finals of the Live and Unsigned competition, playing at London's O2 arena.

Okehampton's Charter Hall may have been a slightly smaller venue, but the band won their heat, beating the favourites 'I Divide' from Exeter.

The competition final is in Simmons Park this Saturday at 7pm.
