THIS month sees two new events happening in the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Choose from an evening listening for nightjars at Devon Great Consols or a relaxing trip in a South West sailing boat along the Tamar River. These events are publicised in the new-look Tamar Valley AONB newsletter entitled ?The Valley?. Charlotte Maunder, information communications officer for AONB, said: ?The events programme is just one way of encouraging residents and visitors to the valley to explore and enjoy our beautiful landscape.? The Nightjar walk will be led by bird expert Richard Hibbert this Saturday (June 3) from 8 to 11pm. Tickets cost £3.
