A TEAM of trained and experienced people in the gift of healing will be able to pray for healing for anyone with physical or emotional pain or injury at a new centre, 'Tavistock Healing Rooms'.

The centre will open to the public every Monday from November 12 from 7.30pm to 9pm at the Friends' Meeting House in Canal Road.

It is open to anyone, whether they have a faith or not and is free of charge.

Anyone who would like prayer for any kind of healing can just visit the centre. Someone will take details of individuals needs and a prayer team will pray for the person discreetly and confidentially. No advance appointment is needed.

David Palmer, chairman of Tavistock Area Christians Together, said: 'We have excellent medical provision in Tavistock but the Healing Rooms is another marvellous opportunity for the people of Tavistock to experience the power of prayer for themselves. We fully support it.'
