Carlsberg South Western League Callington Town 0 Wadebridge Town 5 ADIE Jeffs gave Callington a hard lesson in the art of taking chances as his hat-trick was the highlight of Wadebridge?s 5-0 demolition of the East Cornwall side. Callington did have a number of good chances but the score highlighted the need for the Red and Blacks to bolster the team with experienced heads. There was only one goal that separated the two sides at the break, scored by Jeffs after 15 minutes, although Callington did have the ball in the net 10 minutes later only for Charlie Blair?s effort to be ruled offside. Callington were caught napping after the restart when Jeffs added a second within three minutes and on the hour James Cudmore made it three. Callington fought back with Pete Floyd twice and Blair both having good chances to score before they conceded two late goals. Man of the match: Adam Reid.
