Biscovey 0

Tavistock seconds 3

THE game started all in Tavistock's favour with great running from Bray and Jay Martin on the wings and Aaron Rockey dominating midfield it only took 15 minutes until they scored.

A great defence splitting ball from Chris Faulkner set up fellow striker Paul Cowling to fire past the on coming keeper. Shortly after a Biscovey defender couldn't handle Cowling's presence and got a second yellow after a late tackle.

Tavistock did not take advantage against the ten men and it was the home side who played the better of the half and were unlucky to go into the break 1-0 down.

In the second half the Lambs upped the play and with captain Andy Parnoski leading from example with some strong defending Tavistock looked a different team.

As Ash Menhenick came on in midfield and Andy Bacon and Hutchings on the wings Biscovey didn't know what hit them.

One touch passing and great movement saw Biscovey chasing shadows. A great run and ball from Bacon fell kindly to Cowling in the box to hit his second and to ease the pressure and to kill the game off.

Defenders Hardy, Honey and Luke McPherson were rock solid at the back and didn't look like giving Biscovey's strikers a glimpse of a goal.

The game was wrapped up ten minutes from time when an inch perfect pass from substitute Hutchings to man of the match Paul Cowling to smash home number three gave him a well deserved hat-trick.
