JESS Trerise of the Mid Devon Hunt Pony Club Tetrathlon squad qualified for the National Championships at the Area 14/15/16 competition last weekend for the third year in succession.
The event was held at Fordingbridge and was run by the Wilton Pony Club.
The shooting phase came first, and although not at her best, Jess still managed equal best shoot in her Area and she then improved her swim PB by three metres to have best swim as well.
The course for Sunday?s cross country phase was full of twists and turns and Jess did well to complete on a pony that she had only sat on once before and she then took the run course by storm to finish with the best time in her section.
