PUPILS came to South Tawton Primary School with fresh produce in decorated bxes for the harvest festival recently. The festival was attended by parents and was conducted by headteacher Nick D?Agorne, together with the Rev Philip Wagstaff, who also stepped in at the last minute to play the keyboard in the absence of the music teacher. Representatives of North Tawton Over 60s Club were invited and were given produce to distribute among their members. The money which was collected will also be given to the Over 60s Club. Following the festival, Year 6 children delivered surprise gifts of boxes of produce to various members of the local community. Some of the school?s infant pupils are pictured with their produce.
