Wadebridge RFC Colts 0 Tavistock RFC Colts 7 Tavistock expected a harder game than the home win some weeks earlier and were not disappointed. It was the second half before any points were scored when Dan Smith, playing at scrum half, took the ball forward and found a gap to touch down for the game?s only try which he also converted. Skipper Simon Penrose gave a sound display at flanker and centre and led the side well from the front. Wadebridge had plenty of possession but Tavistock?s tackling kept out every attack. Winger Child made many yards with his strong bullocking runs while centre Goodspeed showed good speed on the break as he approaches full match fitness. Debutant prop Rob Fellows scrummaged powerfully and showed good rucking and tackling skills. The game was marred by a slight altercation between both sets of players in the last few minutes of the game which saw two Wadebridge forwards sin-binned, but the feeling between both side afterwards was that it was a hard match with no grudges borne. Man of the match: Dan Smith.
