Rowena Crocker from Lewdown (pictured left) won a luxury hamper worth £50 after completing a survey aimed at helping West Devon Borough Council improve its services.

Mrs Crocker filled out the Getting to Know You Survey when she visited the council's stand at this year's Okehampton Show.

The survey will help the council understand the needs of local people and how services can be tailored to meet those needs. It also gives people the chance to comment on what particularly interests them in their local community. Everyone who filled out the questionnaire at the show was entered into a prize draw and Mrs Crocker's name was pulled out of the hat.
