THE official re-opening of Whiddon Down Village Hall takes place at a special ceremony this weekend.
The opening will be held on Saturday, February 28, at 3.30pm, with the hall then open for cream teas until 5.30pm.
The old school bell has been re-hung and will be rung by Michael Lee, vice-chairman of the county council, to celebrate the new facilities the hall now provides for users.
Everyone is invited to come along to the opening, to enjoy a cream tea and to take the opportunity to see what has been achieved in the hall.
