LIBRARIES in West Devon will be providing various entertainment for children during the half-term holiday next week.

Children are invited to join Okehampton Library in a Hairy Maclary Craft Activity event on Monday (February 21), where they can join in with making a mobile of children's character Hairy Maclary and his friends. The event runs from 10.30am to 11.30am and costs 50p per child. Visitors need to book in advance on 01837 52805.

Illustrator Woody Fox will be at Moretonhampstead Library on Tuesday from 10am to 1pm telling stories about nature on Dartmoor through illustrations. It is a free, family event and booking is not necessary.

Woody Fox will also be at Chagford Library on Tuesday for a story time session providing an afternoon of stories and pictures from 2pm.
