THE best opportunities for enjoying a day out on the moors can be discovered with the new Dartmoor Guide 2008-2009. The Dartmoor National Park Authority has just published the free guide for visitors and residents, which includes articles and has a special focus on farming. There is also a What's On supplement with hundreds of local events and guided walks throughout the spring and summer. The guide is available at local Tourist Information Centres, libraries and the High Moorland Visitor Centre at Princetown. The guided walks and events programme is also available online at http://www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk">www.dartmoor-npa.gov.uk All DNPA centres are now open for the new season from 10am to 5pm daily. The information centre at Postbridge is currently hosting a Natural Beauty exhibition.
